Fulfillment: The 3 F's are Fields, Formats & Files

What fields should we use?
The following fields and lengths are recommended. (Note: UPS shipments have a shorter maximinum length). Maximinum number of lines per label is 6, which allows for required postal information. If this is not followed additional preparation charges may apply.

Please do not mix address fields together. Common ones that are mixed include Street/PO Box or Street/Building.

States include the 50 states plus District of Columbia (DC), Military (AE, AA, AP), Puerto Rico (PR), Virgin Islands (VI), Guam (GU), American Samoa (AS), Federated States of Micronesia (FM), Northern Mariana Islands (MP), Marshall Islands (MH), and Palau Island (PW).

Please do not put Foreign zip code information in the US Zip code field because there are several countries that use the same format. If we do not catch them, they will be sent to the US Zip.

No special characters (tab marks, manual line breaks, paragraph marks, etc) are allowed in any field. If using CSV, quotation marks and commas are not allowed in fields.

What format should we use to save the file?
We have found that Comma Delimited (CSV), Tab Delimited (TXT), Dbase (DBF), Fixed Length (TXT) or Excel (XLS) all work well. After saving, they can be compressed with WinZip if need be. (Please do not use Access or Label Image files).

How do I send the file?
Files can be sent via e-mail (postal@harmonyprints.com), or on CD, DVD or 100 MB Zip disk. You can also upload directly to our FTP site. Please contact your CSR for name and password.
